VITAL GREEN
"Green in NATURE is one thing, green in DESIGN is revitalizing."
Living and Dining Area
THE CONCEPT

The colour green affects us physically and mentally in various ways. It is soothing, relaxing and brings forth a bright and youthful appearance. Viewing green objects can alleviate the mood and give a sense of freshness.Besides appearing green, the design of this condominium largely utilizes sustainable materials such as low VOC emulsion paint, timber and mild steel. As the existing layout of the condominium is quite small, the design is made to be space saving.

The corridor to the dining area is fairly wide, so a low cabinet is designed in that area for storage and display purposes. A large mirror is placed in the dining area to create an illusion of a larger space.
The kitchen is quite spacious to fit a L-shaped cabinet design. A tall unit cabinet is also designed to fit a refrigerator and have extra storage on top. As the dry yard can be directly seen from the entrance, a single sliding door is proposed to not only hide the space but also to save space.
This condominium has a very small master bedroom, the dressing table is design to be space saving to give enough room to walk.
As the client lives alone, the remaining 2 rooms are made in a guest room and a walk-in closet.
