Scholastic Project

Bookmarks
Designed in different styles to appeal to different kids. Craft oriented and promoting creativity by resembling doodles, a cut-out paper doll, stitched outlines and chalky coloring, and a realistic environment. I tried to think of things that I did buy myself when I used to attend bookfairs.
Polar Poster
Minimally designed using texture, colors, and a cut-out paper style and simple forms. I didn't want to add text that might interrupt the scene.
En Pointe Poster
Considering the popular "Keep Calm" trend, I designed this poster for girls who might be interested in ballet. Again using texture and cut-out paper style, but using color as an emphasis with red pointe shoes.
"Awesome Book" Passbook
This book was designed to immerse the reader in a comfortable environment to promote their own creativity, using a casual style. "Stickers" left partially uncolored so that the child might continue to do so on their own, and simplisitic sketches added to try and promote more doodles without having the child feel as if they need to match a style or skill level. This style would be carried throughout the books pages on notebook paper.
