For my senior thesis at the Corcoran College of Art + Design, I investigated the graphic design of sex education materials. Most existing materials do not relate to well a teenage audience; either their approach is too juvenile or too scientific. Few are appropriate in both content and design. 

 

The goal of my thesis project, The New Talk, is to start a conversation about improving and rethinking sex education in the United States.

 

The NEXT installation is made up of ten thousand newspapers that could start ten thousand conversations about sex education.

 

The project implored visitors to the Corcoran to encounter the giant pile of newspapers, take one, and start talking about sex and sex education.
