Pop Corn Pop Up

Project in which I experimented with light and its particularities. I chose the cinema to be the leading topic, not only to promote the performing arts culture but also to use the promotional pop-up. This is because pop-up and cinema both evoke surprise and playfulness. The promotional card is a popcorn pop-up that when opening makes a sound–mechanism made with papers– which imitates the popcorn popping. The exclusive use of the color yellow emphasizes the importance of light as it creates yellow shadows when a light is projected. The result is that the white shiny paper is bathed yellow. This is the essence of the project: our perceptions change depending on the light exposure.
