In 2017 we at Anima produced an animated feature in record time: 6 months from begining to end. It was nuts! There was 2 art directors for the movie, me and Rosa Campos. I came in first to set the visual style and characters so I got to supervise character design and developement and also props and she revised backgrounds.
Here are some first approaches:

This was made for a client so as I'm writing this it's yet TBR (to be released) and, yes, some of the designs resemblance some Mexican actors and actresses.

To close my part in this movie I directed the actors who lent their voices for these characters (along with the AMAZINGLY TALENTED Betzabé Jara) but, unfortunately I had to be unacredited for that (don't know why). Also I painted this cards they used for an ellipsis that sums up part of the plot:
