Exquisite Corpse: The Collaborative Surrealist Drawing Game is a creative art activity book based on the 1920’s French Surrealist parlor game, Cadavre Exquis, where players are artists collectively drawing an imaginative anthropomorphic figure.

Included, are 45 template pages made for 2-5 players that can be filled and thus created into personalized masterpieces in a keepsake journal.
In the end, players are free to tear out and gift their drawings, frame them for display, or simply keep each page bound as one contiguous art book documenting his or her shared experiences among friends and strangers from adventures around the world.

Exquisite Corpse: The Collaborative Surrealist Drawing Game further aims to bring unfamiliar people together by allotting a blank canvas to be used to lay out ideas and views, no matter how political, socioeconomic, or radical they may be.
The rules are simple: Starting from the “head” section on the given template, artists take turns drawing their part in order from head to feet without other players seeing the individual entries until the end: sections include head, torso, genitalia, legs, and feet. After drawing a section, players must fold the sheet back to cover their entry for the following artist so that their drawing stays hidden. Let small marks bleed over the end of the section into the next area to allow a continuation of the body in one connected figure. Once the last artist completes his or her drawing, the group unveils their exquisite corpse and each player can sign and date the back of their section. Voilá! A new masterpiece for the ages!
