FIDGET SMARTWATCH
We all fidget from time-to-time, whether it's with the phones in our pockets or clicking the push button at the end of our pens.
We sometimes just can't help it. We may even know that we are doing it!
And that is the reason behind this fidget smartwatch.
People's fingers inexplicably want to touch edges. Think about what do you usually do when you are in unconsciousness.
Your fingers probably looks for edges to feel.
And doing that help you to be calm and relieved from your stress.
It is the reason why I deliberately didn't create an aerodynamic shape.
I designed a watch that has a fidget spinner.
This smartwatch has tactile functions as well as visual functions.
If you spin the middle part of the smartwatch with you finger, you can enjoy the fidget spinner smartwatch.
Middle part of this smartwatch is a fidget element which has the ability to rotate.
You can spin this fidget part with your fingers and then the part will be spinning until you make it stop.
If you touch the surfaces of this smartwatch, you can feel it is really like a toy which we played with when we were kids.
Everyday we are stressed from time-to-time.
Although you want to leave for escaping from these stressful situations, it isn't easy to do that.
How about just spin the fidget spinner of smartwatch?
It can make you feel better whenever, wherever.
PDF HAUS is a practical product design educational institution situated in Korea.
PDF HAUS, which started from a designer community called PDF (Product Designer's Forum), was able to sense the difficulties that students, designer-to-be or new designers, or other non-majors interested in design are going through, and the passion in them.
So, This led to the project PDF HAUS.
Just like the name Product Designer’s Forum, experienced designers take part in projects of practical designs through their know-hows and advice. For quenching thirst of design to People of diverse fields, we are trying to educate "designing for practical design."
