Hidden Gems of West Virginia

A weekend trip through some small towns and parks in West Virginia including Davis, Charleston, Blackwater Falls, Hawk's Nest, and the New River Gorge Bridge which was completed on October 22, 1977. The bridge spans 3,030 ft (924m), is 69.3 ft (21.1m) wide allowing for 4 lanes of traffic plus the center divider, and is 876 ft (267m) high with an arch of 1,700 ft (518m)! While it was once the largest bridge in America, today it is now the 4th largest (however, it still holds the record for the highest) and sees an average of 16,200 vehicles everyday!
