Sarong - Royal Food Court

Creating a pop, funky sarong for young people, about Singapore (made in 2012).

I worked on "Food Court", creating a pun with "Royal Court". Food courts are very typical places in Singapore where one can find all one needs to eat and drink local delights.

All of the characters are inspired by Singaporean food.

The king of fruits -Durian- rules at the head of this pyramidal power.

Among his subjects: the Laksa Warrior, the Pepper Crab guards, the Sandwich Ice-Cream Army -all faithfully serving under a coat of arms.

Digital & handmade. Frottage, noodles, various patterns plus ink.
