MDÁ 2018
Back at it with the photo collaging
This years installment was completed much later than I wanted it to, but I wasn't able to really grasp the final look of it until later in the year. Either way, I'm happy that I was able to transmute the synapses going off behind my eyeballs into something for
everyone to see.
"SS.1"//5.5"x8" Here's one of my newer styles(look at those sweet sweet watermarks :-))). Appropriately dubbed and also made into an acronym "Smoke Style".
"Drowning in Colors No.2"//23"x16" Its been a while since I painted a self-portrait.
I can never decide on which color way to go with, every time I settle on one I always get a new idea...so here's three of them.
And finally we reach the tangible part of MDÁ. I made prints of these past MDÁ pieces in an attempt to fill the empty void in my wallet...each of them are available for purchase in my online store.
"Die SLoW" as in, make the most of your days. Appreciate what is around you and don't put your energy into things that will harm you or become a burden on your wellbeing.
Two years in a row with some cool wearable art...I think I found a new tradition.
These are also currently available in my online store.
1" Black nickel enamel pins with a rubber clutch (papaya tree stump not included).
Color ways aren't the only thing I can never settle on, type treatments are also susceptible to many many iterations.
Umm...I guess thats it for the 2018 edition of MDÁ.
Next year will have more letters! Colors! And maybe have moving pictures!
Thank you for taking a gander at this junk I call art. See ya next year!
