My friend Debanjana Saha loves Gustav Klimt's work - and so I decided to reproduce his following artwork for her. Except I replaced the lady's face with Debanjana's face, and changed the colour pallette to something more nocturnal. What is interesting is that the face looks like a mixture of hers and mine. 

One of the favourite movies of my friend and room-mate Aloki is Rang De Basanti. So I sketched the famous RDB poster for her birthday, and I included her in it as well. The girl to the left of Aamir, obviously. It's actually kind of funny. 

I made the card below for my super-skinny film-maker friend Ninad Adawadkar. He usually wears millions of layers of clothing to keep himself warm. So, as you flip the pages of the card, you keep adding layer after layer on Ninad's body, and it ends with a sincere (?) hope of making sure he's warm enough. 

I illustrated postcards for some of my favourite RD Quotable Quotes using a combination of water and poster colors, and the sketchbook I borrowed from my brother and never returned.

How do you write your name in a way people know where you have come from? I am from the Land of Rajnikanth - and hence, having that famous cigarette-flick was a must.
