Urecolight is a project that I developed with a friend in our 3rd year with all the enthusiasm in the world. It is a new project that voaches for 3D printing, with the underlying objective of providing our own little grain towards making this world a healtier, more habitable place in the long-term through good design. One shouldn't be at the expense of the other, rather enhance the other. These tablelamps are of exclusive, hand-made design, each created with a lot of love. This little baby has been raised for a year including financial plans and raising a crowdfunding to start the company.

It was great to get an idea of what starting a design company entails in the real world around such a specific product. And the possibilities it might hold in the future regarding inovative experimentaion with futuristic materials. We printed Urecolight's initial line using metal, wood and stone filaments. The tulip-resembling deployable lampshades were made by laser-cutting hand-crafted paper.
