Product Design / Packaging / Branding
The concept of this project came after attending the "II Technology and Tourism for all International Congress" in Málaga, Spain, and it consists in designing an inclusive packaging design for spices that focuses on its identification and its ergonomy. The MPIu+a methodology and a Gantt chart were used in the development process.
The product can be defined in:
(1). Spices Packaging: the main characteristic of the container is the angular cap, which allows identification from different perspectives. It includes the name of the spice and a QR code on top of it. On the neck, the name of the spice is also written in Braille. To easily identify the spice's family, three Pantone colors are used: Lush Meadow for herbs, Grenadine for grains and Ultra Violet for salts and peppers.

(2). Spice Rack: this organizer is thought for a home kitchen as it can hold up to ten spices. The angle in which the containers are held can be adjusted, allowing the user to place the product in any spot of the kitchen (wall, countertop, drawer or cabinet) without obstructing the identification of the spices.
(3). Multifunctional Bar: the following tool was also designed, which presents three main functions: to get to know the quantity of spices left throught touch, to facilitate dosage and to clean container once emptied.
(4). Branding:
