THE SAMURAI

Sinopsis:
Young samurai is trying to rescue the love of his heart from hands of an evil sorcerer. The boy has to fight his way through deadly ninjas to a final battle against the warlock. Who will win, who will lose? Good or evil?

Inspirations
Art style, as well as main character, wear strongly inspired by animated tv series "Samurai Jack" created by Genndy Tartakovsky. My idea for the movie was to create a tribute to my beloved series from childhood. Next, I thought about the scene from Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill", where The Bride fights with Crazy 88s. To complete my knowledge about samurai movies I watched most known Akira Kurosawa's works like: "Seven Samurai", "Yojimbo", "Sanjuro". After all those inspirations, and four attempts, I came up with the final script.
