Transit information system for Atv 
(Verona, Italy)

Project developed for my master thesis, dedicated to the role of communication design in improving public transport.
The information system for Atv (public transport company in Verona, Italy) was designed to guide and reassure passengers, paying attention to the inclusiveness of all the touchpoints. 
The thesis wants to prove the possibility to implement a signage and information system that is clear, effective, accessible, capable of interpreting the local identity, and that enhances the image of the city as well as the transport service.

The typeface has been chosen for its legibility and for reflecting the cultural and visual identity of Verona. The city is famous for its Roman and medieval monuments: Kievit is a font that is close to the Roman lapidary. Medieval tradition
finds its expression in a pair of glyphs.
