My heritage has been my grounding, and it has brought me peace.

Since I became a graphic designer, I also got interested in documenting my country's heritage by maximising my designs and photography skills. Specifically, I'm interested mostly in Hadramout visual art heritage, my hometown in Yemen. Hadramout has a rich heritage culture which rooted deeply from our ancestors 3000 years ago.
The process of making this project started by sketching one of the Hadramout's heritage icons, “Jambia” or the curved dagger. Afterwards, I traced the outline by illustrator and I colored it. After that, I did some retouch and coloring by Photoshop.
