The political climate over the last 2 years has been disheartening, to say the least. During the mid-term elections when I listened to Beto O'Rourke, I felt hope for the first time in a long time. As a passionate professor, mother, designer and activist, the political fatigue is starting to lift a bit and I am feeling energized. As a Rhode Islander I was almost wishing I were a Texan, just so I could have cast my vote for Beto. In keeping with his current campaign design aesthetic I chose to illustrate these buttons and will be doing a limited print run and handing them out for free to those that share my sentiment and passion for positive change. #BETO #BETO2020
