Concept: Creating a unique illustration designed to represent a fantasy novel of your choice

I thought Ready Player One would be a good choice for this illustration considering I've read the novel and that it is the most insane to fantasy novel you will ever read. It's action, adventure, and pop culture references too many to count. Below the illustration is my initial sketch and an image I used for reference when coming up with how the contents of my illustration should look.
