Developed at the CERN AttractYoung Hackathon.

We worked on "Access to Education and Culture" with a core focus on widespread fake news in this era of misinformation. We aimed to remove cultural barriers built by this misinformation and provide a way for people to distinguish between real and fake news. We contemplated many innovative technology solutions ranging from blockchain to machine learning and text recognition systems. Finally we came up with a solution involving Natural Language Processing (NLP) to detect if news is real or fake, and the level of truth in the news that we call the Malala Index.
