This short film was developed for the UNHCR World refugee day. The purposely abstract story of two men (a refugee and a Swiss) living in shared accomodation, illustrates the non-communication between the two parties and evokes the isolation of refugees in a new environment with a foreign language and unfamiliar habits. The film tries not to moralise or use too many cliches, which is one of the reasons we chose a young, artistic and easy-going Swiss to represent his country.
