The inspiration for this project stemmed not from children but from soldiers. Chocolate spread full of calories, so soldiers received it from time to time. Winter created some difficulties in spread-eating process. Below some temperature the chocolate spread became a hard lump. So good friends of mine cut it into slices (with container), peeled and threw the plastic wrapper and ate the chocolate.
I thought it would be magnificent to see the chocolate sausage in the fridge between ice cream. In addition in Israeli supermarkets, where the dairy and meat are always separeted, the fact of sausage in dairy section is inadmissible and unacceptable. I've build on this little provocation like a source for quick recognition of new product by consumers.
According to comopany tradition, the design remains without modern adaptation.
