Life is something like that glorious “learning process” that the elusive They talk about. The following is a short film that I helped work; a short film that never quite saw the light of day, but hey, the process of it all was really neat.
During the summer of 2019, there will be a freak frost in the dead of a Montanan August. Gopher, the beloved lamb of the Puckett family, is accidentally caught outside during this weather anomaly. The comedy/drama begins the morning after and into the continuing day, following a brother, a sister, her two boys, their grandfather, and the priest from the orphanage down the road. It's the processings of this unyielding family as they face the merciless company of loss, abandonment, and sudden change.
The following illustrated and designed props and marketing collateral for the short film are a continuation of this uniquely quirky story into the public’s interaction with the film.
