CLIMATE CHANGE CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT
USAID LEAF

USAID LEAF works side by side with their local partners to slow climate change
by developing strategies to sustainably reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the forestry and land use sector

Over a five-year implementation period from 2011-2016, the United States Agency for International Development’s Lowering Emissions in Asia’s Forests (USAID LEAF) program delivered significant results against its overall objective of strengthening the capacity of target countries to achieve meaningful and sustained reductions in greenhouse gas emissions from the forestry-land use sector.

The curriculum is a free resource of teaching materials for university professors, lecturers, teachers and climate change training experts. The modules offers an excellent introduction of climate concepts, social and environmental issues, land use planning, and carbon measurement. This brochure introduces the 4 modules of the curriculum.
