These portraits are of immigrants showing who they are as citizens in the United States. I want to connect these images to Day of the Dead by combining a regular portrait with a blur of themselves. These shots are about having two identites by crossing the border. All of the objects in the photos connect to where they come from, what they do, and what they believe in as immigrants living in the United States. Let us not break the things we love the most.
