Monochromatic sugar skull. This skull has the same color but different shades of green which makes it monochromatic.

Complementary sugar skull. This skull has two main colors (yellow and purple) that have different shades blended into the skull which makes it a complementary design.

Triad sugar skull. This skull is triad because there are three different colors on the skull that go well together. This makes the design a triad design.

Black and white sugar skull. This is my reference skull.
