KUNG FUEY: Martial Arts Film Fest

Kung Fuey:
Martial Arts film fest

Kung Fu Cinema: Heavy kick, swift punch, bloody nose. The grainy footage of a brutal fighting scene and lightning-fast motion unfolds in your head. You get drawn into the action. Over the course of three nights, Kung Fuey screens the classic martial arts movies of the 1980s that pioneered the genre we know today.
Some of us may love. Others may hate it. Nonetheless, we all know the familiar gestures and movements of martial arts.
We don’t need famous actors or high-budget films. The imagination of sleek maneuvers and techniques is all we need to get put into the shoes of a ninja hero. That’s what makes Kung Fu Cinema.
