Flask | Typographical Project
This project that began in early November was based around the idea of designing a minimalistic-styled typographical poster that would combine both text and illustration content together in order to visually express the overall basics of a stainless steel flask, a flask itself commonly used to maintain a cold or set-warm temperature of a beverage for as long as possible before full consumption.

As you will see, the final design primarily consists of a comedic-orientated narrative that shows a flask (made out of the letter ‘L’) being overpoured with tea (identifiable by the tan-like shade of brown the liquid itself is made of) due to the appearance of a spill running from the tip, all the way down to the bottom. Of course, to help with maintaining hierarchy (being that the illustration content remains the primary focus) the remaining letters have been reduced in transparency to help ensure that the verbal interpretation the viewers must decipher, comes second and not before the actual narrative.

To push the overall depth of the design that little bit further, I decided to include lighting gradients alongside a grain texture in order to help push away from a look that I felt would appear far too flat, and way too polished for my own personal liking.

So, be sure to tell me what you think in the comment section below!
