For my graduation projec I decided to deal whit a quite diffucult issue: power.
What power is? Whcich shapes it have and had?
And how it influences our society?

To find answer to these questions I started a long theorical research.
Phylosophers such as Micheal Foucault, Gilles Deleuze, Hillman, Weber and Machiavelli; writers like Kafka, Orwell, Burroughs; but also movies such us Brazil, Z, V for Vendetta, Das Experiment, The Trial ; Documentaries like "The century of the self" influenced my path in all meanings possible.
I've been in archives searching for writings about bandits in 1500, I interviewed artists, soldiers, cartoonists, I've read Foucault's "Discipline and Punish" three times to try to be at least a bit near to what we call "clear idea" of what power is.
In parallel to my reasearch I collected a long series of drawing, comics, collages, paintings and illustartions connected to theme, but talking about it in a different way: the "low and undergroung" culture way.
Which will always be my favourite way to deal with important themes like this one.
My research ened up with a video shooted whit a broken camera, for which I produced enterely the soundtrack.

This video was completely shooted in Holland, where there are three of the prisons builted on the project of Jeremy Bentham.
The camera that I used was broken so the images where glitched and they seem to pulse.
Before editig he footage I create a series of sounds developed mostly on low frequencies to create a synaesthesia between the images and the sounds.
