Basilica Cistern - Istambul - Turkey

The Basilica Cistern, is the largest of several hundred ancient cisterns that lie beneath the city of Istanbul, Turkey. The cistern, located 150 metres southwest of the Hagia Sophia on the historical peninsula of Sarayburnu, was built in the 6th century during the reign of Byzantine Emperor Justinian I. - Wiki

the lighting was very low and dim and the temperature were very cold inside the cictern. managed to get a couple of good photos in the low available light shooting at f 4

All the photos clicked here are hand held using the Canon 1DX mark II and EF 11-24 f 4 L USM lens.
