Artifact #3: Paintball Game

Artifact #3: Paintball Game

Description:
This is a 1st person layout game in a 3D environment that has been fully constructed from the blank C++ template out of Visual Studios and Unreal Engine. I created and installed my own plugins for custom textures, shaders, dynamic materials, 3D shapes, and patterns that can be changed dynamically during runtime when the player shoots an object or moves close to an object. The focus of the game is not so much mission-oriented as it is exploration/adventure based because of the core C++ programming required to initialize each plugin from scratch. The idea is that the player begins the game and moves freely around their environment while interacting with all objects. Game play is shown below with interaction and movement throughout the 3D environment.

Tools Used:
Unreal Engine, Visual Studios, Photoshop for main menu

Highlighted Skills:
Creating a fully realized 3D virtual environment with interactive textures, 3D generated shapes, and meshes that appear through character interaction and projectile firing. This game utilizes core programming in C++ and custom plugins in order to create all dynamic material and texture instances.
