We love working with extremely passionate expert people. And the brothers Claudia and Fabrizio Bucella are definitely two of them. Fabrizio’s field of expertise is wine and an extensive part of his brief to us was to invite us for an afternoon of sharing his knowledge accompanied of course with a wonderful wine tasting.

And so Wine Club was born, a place where wine enthusiasts can gather to share experiences and tasting notes, but also of course to just meet friends and enjoy a carefully selected offer of wines and champagnes in a classy environment.
Throughout the entire project high attention was paid to the balance of finishes and meticulous detailing. Brushed brass, gold leaf covered metal, smoked walnut, green marble (verdi alpi scuro), terrazzo, green velvet and stucco create a rich and earthy bouquet of materials.
The importance of sharing and enjoying with others also reflects in the logo, depicting 3 glasses of wine, together forming an abstract bunch of grapes. Every well respected club, deserves a strong emblem.
To emphasise the social element of the club, a large remarkable tasting counter with spitting sink was placed in the center of the back space, visible from every angle of the interior. Above this counter a bespoke light fixture with both direct light for tastings as indirect light for atmosphere makes this feature the centerpiece of the entire space. Besides this central light fixture a series of ceiling lamps was also designed especially for this project. Inspired by the typical structure of a winery's grape vine, these lamps are characterized by a horizontal element from which brass discs are pending. These discs reflect the light from tubular led spots that come down from the ceiling. Different moments of the evening and different atmospheres ask for different seating arrangements, like the cosy leather booth clad with walnut strips and decorated with a selection of exclusive bottles.
