In the senior studio Identity class the final project was to select a local restaurant and rework their branding. In order to get real work experience of working with a client I met with the restaurant owner and discussed her brand (The Classic Cookie) starting with the history up through the future of brand and where she wanted to take it. The classic cookie along with making the most delicious cookies in the Kansas City area also offer a full breakfast and lunch menu. So with the starting point I created a logo to reference the blend of being a sweets shops with the reputation of a full scale café. In addition to a brand new logo I also created a menu, wall graphic, exterior signage, and graphics for table tops.
