"Given a perfect square, you must fill it with eighteen rectangles of equal size. Three primary colors, three secondary colors, and three non colors are to be used. Each color must be represented at least once. The rectangles must be arranged in a way so that the eye rests in the center of the square while top and bottom are well balanced."

This puzzle was originally solved on paper at the Bauhaus School of Design in Germany in the beginning of the 20th century. I solved it with my partner Mari Tamura as our contribution to the exhibition Point and Line to Gallery in march 2015 at Krabbesholm School of Art and Design. Our solution was painted on the main gallery wall giving the piece a central position in the exhibition.
