LAZARUS CLOTHING CO.
I had the opportunity to design and brand a prototype upscale women's thrift store called Lazarus. Since Lazarus curates one of a kind vintage pieces, I wanted the branding of the store to reflect the idea that each clothing item has a unique story to tell.
Logotype
Just as Lazarus revives old clothing items, I revamped an ordinary sans serif font by rounding out the edges and giving it some letter spacing. I kept the logotype simple as to let the focus of the store be on the selection of unique vintage pieces.
Hangtag
Like the logotype, I kept the hangtag for Lazarus simple. Beneath the brand statement, I included the name, size, and additional information regarding the clothing item. I decided to personify the clothing by having it "introduce itself".
Invoice
Overall, I wanted the branding of Lazarus to be focused on both the customer and the employee. With that in mind, I designed an invoice that could be printed out in store and given to customers so that they can keep track of the money that they spent.
Sale Sheet
This sale sheet I designed features the same branding style along with a diagram of
one of the tops sold in the store. The simple design and labeling make it easy for employees to find clothing items for the customer, along with educating the customer about its background.
