In 1090, parisian photographer Alphonse Bertillon developed a pioneer method for classifying and archiving faces. The so called "Synoptic Table of Physiognomic Traits". This anatomical study purpose was to help the police identify suspects of crimes, and until the beginning of the 20th century it served as a predecessor of the fingerprint exam. For me, the collective power of these "collages" represents my perspective on live music, a collective performance of subjective interpretation.
