Ludos Control Panel (Desktop)
Client:
Unidep, a school with a high-volume of students, teachers and admins uses platform Ludos.
Problem:
Other than aesthetic balance, navigation needs IA treatment to improve the user flow.
Method:
We used 1 on 1 interviewss and reversed-cart sorting with 7 users so we could categorize properly our information clusters. We managed to make all these links accesible, and give it a "less-platformy" look, turning into something user can use as if they were navigating on the web.
Grid System:
Another issue was the fact that elements were not inside of a grid system. After a rough wireframing we fittted all cards and info into a 1290 width, 16 columns x 61px, 22px margins, 18 px gutter grid
The New Look:
The old dashboard did not help user with clear CTA´s nor text links. Easy routes and hotspots were placed throughout the dashboard with hierarchy based on reverse-card-sorting results.
