The project
U by Kotex is a leading feminine care brand with three main products – tampons, pads and liners.
Managing the social content of UBK on Facebook and Instagram, we have become a is a friend who is honest and real, bold and witty, a big sister that you can trust. Our mission is to remove the taboo attached to periods and reinforce they are healthy, natural and most importantly should never hold women back from achieving what they are capable of.
The challenge
How to be relevant to girls at the age of 13 to 25 without sounding so phony? How to get up-to-date, timely piece of content up on the page without getting so much back-and-forth communication with the client?
My role
From March to September 2018, I was in charge of ideation and content creation. With a small team of 3, we spend around 8 hours every month to create a content calendar and brainstorm the topic and execution for each post. The perks of working in a small team is that we throw and bounce ideas around, even the wackiest, boldest ones.
I provided scamps and sketches to quickly visualise the composition, as well as execution direction in order to have the post achievable. Once the concepts were approved, I went on to create all assets, digitally or traditionally, and shoot, retouch, edit, render, export, make sure everything is ready to go live from a design perspective while maintaining UBK branding.
