We met just before sunrise in a foggy, lakeside field just outside of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Sean had asked if I could get a couple specific shots his graphic designer had requested so we started with those since they were the most specific need of the session. My strategy was to shoot that particular pose at a few different intervals but I wanted to establish a baseline first. I had Sean tell me a few stories about his background and his family to get him to loosen up. Pretty soon he started strumming and I worked while he was in his element. After capturing him playing, I had him lose the guitar and just interact with his surroundings and his accessories.
