The Dutch Ensemble Klang is famous for it's innovative and experimental approach of contemporary music. Over the last couple of years our studio helped them with the design and artwork of nine albums. For each album cover we created a playful design that consists only out of lines. The lines are a visual reflection of their music and also form the name of the composer they worked with on the album. 

Normally two colors are used for the artwork. But, for the Klangs latest album Black Untitled we didn't use color at all. The covers background color is matte black with lines printed with UV varnish. The combination of the deep dark and the shiny lines give the cover an intriguing look-and-feel.
