In the fifth semester of my studies I made a six-months-internship at Heine/Lenz/Zizka in Berlin. To that time one of our main clients has been the museum HAMBURGER KUNSTHALLE and its big re-opening in April 2016as about to happen. With my team I was working on exhibition posters and flyers, the collection catalogue as well as on the orientation signage in the renovated building, for which I was designing the Icons.

The icons themselves are drawn from the new corporate font's architecture and aesthetic: a slightly adapted version of the ITC Johnston. Hence the sleek and geometric look of the icons, which makes them easy to read and understand and yet they are refreshingly unique.
