DESIGNER´S NEST // COPENHAGEN FASHION WEEK
2016
I am very pleased and honoured to have been selected as the finalist to participate in Designer´s Nest show in August 2015 during the Copenhagen Fashion Week. Designers Nest is a professional and international platform for Nordic design graduates, which aims to expose and promote up-and-coming Scandinavian designers.
My two selected outfits are based on my BA collection ”Equation”, however they took a bit different direction towards artistic approach. I am deeply inspired by the Picasso talent and his style of interpret art, so I tried to interpret it in my personal way by creating details and print that take their roots from my drawn figures. I show my created lines as a drawing on a flat, as a pattern and 3D print.
