Contrasti is an inward-looking book which explores the removed feelings and the deepest parts of the human consciousness through poetry and photography. Still image of a moment and son of primordial thoughts running with no filters on, it can be both read or simply observed. The book consists in 43 folded sheets. With sheets in the place of pages to create continuums and breaks, the contrasts are enhanced by the chromatic change in the paper. In fact, it is the sheets to be numbered, each one coming in a different colour. The exact same idea is applied to the copies. At the moment, the copies are 15 and no one looks like another.
The texts, as well as the images, continue in the next page when the writer decides to expand a thought which breaks changing into something else.
Contrasti is a book at times complex and edgy focusing on relationships, on the need for self-determination, telling a story about lunacy and childhood, about the raw and bitter taste of live, but also about its tenderness and kindness. It is the story of an ordinary woman, and the report of a borderline thought.
