SON LUX — melancholic, experimental and powerful. 

These were my first thoughts, listening to the US Artists. 

They performed in »Funkhaus Berlin« a special concert hall that anyone has ever seen.

It’s personal, artist and visitors are close, and the acousitic shivers down your spine in the most positive way, to let you feel and enjoy the music on full costs. A perfect place for SON LUX to play at, also since it was one of the fist venues they’ve played in their beginning days.

I had the honour to design a poster exclusively for this gig.

Their songs »Easy« and »Lost it to trying« inspired me to design this poster, showing the clearness of their music in the font I chose, the bubble design represent the experimentality in their music, and visually describe the verses that can be found in their song »easy«. 

The grid shown in the very background visuals the feeling that goes through your body, when listening to the instruments, followed by the singers voice.
