ENCRYPTED DATA / ART FOR BURNING MAN 2018
Installation done with 4 other people for 2018's Burning Man in Black Rock CIty (USA). Encrypted Data is a giant key inhabited by a computer with whom people can interact, but can also encrypt secret messages,, which can be uncrypted only after the burn, though a dedicated website. The key prints the messages, allowing people to give them away, like secret gifts. Its also covered with stashes, most of them being locked, with a huge treasure hunt going though all the key, with gift stashes to discover, but also passwords to animate the lights. A godmode is discoverable and allow the people that finds it to decrypt messages and acces all the light modes of the key. Encrypted Data was born in France and built in California by a mixed french-american team : Zac Cogle, Clement Rouil, Alexia Schmidt, Michael Tamimy and Benjamin Vedrenne.
