The final product! My task for this project was to create a poster for the Latino Film Festival held in San Diego every March.
The first sketch of the image. I wanted to go with an poster that wasn't prejucided to any subject but that was with a simple to its design that got a great design that would inspire any who looked at the sketch to come see the festival and the movies that would be pictured in them.
The original compositions of the posters. But after recieving critiques and some help on how I could better my design,I did decide to make a few changes. I changed the model of the lady holding the reel. I decided that it was better from a behind view of the model. In this design I included the happy,shocked and sad faces. I also included a sketch & design of a spanish rose. The result turned out to be a much better result in the very end and I'm very proud of the result.
The Final Result of All Three Posters. After seeing that the images inside of the film reel didn't fit the design I was looking for,I ended up taking them out. What came about was a simple yet beautiful design for the poster. My artwork sometimes I like to go for a simple touch and that is what I had done for this final product of the poster. The red background poster is my favorite because it's exactly what I had intended to go for in the project.
The mock up of my favorite of the three posters as it would look on the streets and you pass by them/one. A very professional and simple design throughout. I am glad I went with this final result and I am very pleased and happy with the result. I would very much in the future to go back and redo this poster as there is some elements I know I could possibly add.
