Speaker with lamp for BEOPLAY

In the second year of university I developed the speaker for Danish company BeoPlay. The idea of the project was to create a multifunctional speaker with a lamp. When creating a product, it was necessary to consider the design principles of the company: attention to detail, emotion, function, high quality and luxury. The result of the project included: 3D model, rendering, prototyping and phone app.
Design Process

BeoPlay provides audiosystems to sensual people in natural sound environment with a luxury voice, helping them feel pleasure and be in mood.
X-Factor: energy, curiosity, surprised.
The speaker is very compact and does not take up much space. It performs the function of lighting. Volume is adjusted using the ring on top of the device. The battery level can be seen on the light indicator.
The speaker has an application for your phone. It will help you choose a playlist, change the sound settings and adjust the lighting mode. You can set the hue and light of the lamp by clicking on the area of the gradient. You can also set the automatic shutdown of music / light after some time. The app works through the Bluetooth connection.
