The tea set Morgenland embodies an oriental form that plays with the behavior of Western tea culture. Delicate elements are made perceptible upon use and are stylistically interpreted. The set consists of a teapot, a milk jug, a sugar bowl, a cup, a saucer and a dessert plate. This project was inspired by a visit to Istanbul, the service should formally remind to magnificent mosques from near east countries.
"To design something made from porcelain is a big challenge. While designing this tea service, I have been collecting many practical experience. I became familiar with the moody conditions, which porcelain involves and have learned how to design tableware, which also is producible. Another important thing was to get familiar with the use of forms of a tea service and to make the product workable.
Now I rule the material skillful and can play with princess porcelain easily"
