The Okhla Factory Workers

Introduction:
The community focussed are the labours working in small scale industries earning between 6,000 - 20,000 Indian Rupees.

The members of my community are migrants from Bihar, Eastern part of Uttar Pradesh. They have migrated from their respective states at a very young age to earn a living due to family pressure.

After working in various informal setups like construction labors, chemical factories etc; they engaged themselves in a formal setting .They were first enrolled here as unskilled labors and have gradually found a way to go up the ladder.

But they are facing problems despite being a part of a formal setting. There are no job guarantees, minimal government intervention in this area.
