Based on António Félix da Costa's 2018 helmet design, my design idea is meant to be an update for his next 2018-19 FormulaE season.

In my interpretation, I keep some of the current helmet’s design, like certain shapes and colors. But it’s added a few new elements to incorporate a meaning and symbolism, some extra motivation for the upcoming season! 

The driver stated his big expectations for the next FormulaE season but at the same time admitted the toughness of his previous two seasons. 

Based on that I added to the helmet’s design the powerful "Phoenix" mythology together with the abstract fire effects so that the next season brings back the great results and victories!
