My friend and I are commissioned by the Great Star Media Co. (China, Shanghai) drawing the illustrations of “Adventure Alice in the Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass”.

Fruitful collaboration with the publishing house allowed to create a book with more 125 illustrations.

Book is available in steampunk style.

Initially, this project was my diploma work. Later he grew into a full-fledged book. Work on the diploma was conducted for 5 months.
The main idea of ​​the diploma "Alice" was how the main character went down to Hell. From chapter to chapter, the surrounding space changed from dark colors to bright colors. Alice's emotions are described through arithmetic. The confusion of architectural styles reflects a confusion of perception and perception about the world of a little girl. Also in the illustrations I tried to convey the duplicity of the work: a fairy tale and satire on the society of that time.
The design of the characters was based on the game of their characters and associations. For example, Jack was with the face of David Bowie to show his artistry and brilliance.
In "Alice in the Looking Glass," the main character when the mirror passes passes into the world of ghosts (white figures) and demons (red figures).
